Hualalai Real Estate Makes for a Perfect Getaway

With many sceneries to visit, and activities to choose from, it seems like Hawaii does not run out of things to offer. Famous for its world-class beaches, spectacular resorts, and national parks, Hawaii has evolved from a top tourist spot to a real estate haven. Hualalai real estate, in particular, has been thriving for the past years, and not surprisingly so.

Located at the famous Kona Kohala coast, Hualalai is another paradise in the Big Island’s northern region. It is home to two world-class golf courses: the Ke'olu Golf Course, which was designed by Tom Weiskopf, and the Hualalai Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Both designers were also respected American professional players in the past.

Hualalai is also very famous for the Hualalai volcano, a dormant shield volcano that last erupted in 1801, this neighborhood is visited by many city-dwellers, because of its tropical weather, and rustic ambience.

It is easy to hava a good time in Hualalai. Visitors can choose from among very exclusive and top-of-the-class residential villas, which are perfect for the Hawaiian staycation.

Its serene waters are the breeding ground for blue marlins, making the place perfect for sport fishing. Moreover, located in North Kona is Kukio Beach, a perfect stretch of palm trees and white sand mixed with lava rocks in Kikaua point. Its crystal blue and calm waters is perfect for different water sports like, kayaking, and stand up paddle boarding. If weather is good, stop by at the northern-most part of Kikaua Beach and sight some green sea turtles resting in shore line rocks.

To discover more about the village’s culture, a visit to Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park in South Kona, also known as the "City of Refuge," in Honaunau Bay is a perfect choice. The Pu'uhonua is about the story of old Hawaii law, which sentenced people to death once certain decree was broken. According to historians, the only way to survive death was to elude pursuers to the Pu'uhonua, or the place of refuge.

To keep up with Hualalai real estate and its rich culture and majestic landscape, pick a luxury home in a neighborhood that offers the ultimate in exclusivity.
